I have decided to go with this pattern for my animation. The above shows the unfolding movement of a circle. I am planning to make some changes to the shape. I would like to challenge myself to animate a sphere instead of just a flat circle.

This is an good example that I have found on Youtube. Basically, this is a breakdown of a set of headphones. The unfolding animation actually starts from 2:00 to 2:20.
